Summer Wellness Club

 A new month is here and I am so excited to invite you to join The Summer Wellness Club! This is not about restricting yourself to only eating boring salads all summer long. We believe in popsicles, pool time, and making the most of these warm months and we’d never ask you to sacrifice your happiness for a smaller number on a scale. But if you’re struggling with your nutrition or ready to incorporate more movement into your life, this is a perfect place for you!  
What is more refreshing than lemonade on a hot summer day?! (Answer: nothing) This easy recipe for lemonade popsicles uses just 3 ingredients: water, fresh lemons, and honey! If you wanted to boost the flavor profile for a night of summer entertaining, add ¼ cup fresh herbs or seasonings wrapped tightly in cheesecloth to the water and honey mixture. Boil for 5 minutes; allow to steep for 1-2 hours. Then, strain! You can play around with the flavor combinations and explore a little – ginger, rosemary, thyme, basil… be adventurous! Whether you go with the simple version or an elevated herbal flavor, these pops are sure to delight!
1½ cups water, divided use
3 Tbsp. raw honey
½ cup fresh lemon juice
Heat ½ cup water and honey in a small saucepan over medium-high heat; cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes or until well blended. Cool to room temperature. Combine honey mixture and lemon juice in a bowl or pitcher. Gradually add the remaining water to desired taste. Pour evenly into four ice pop molds; freeze for at least four hours, or until set. 
Summer is short and we want to take full advantage of it. Most of us are skilled at creating summer bucket lists as long as our arm… but then, too often, we head into fall feeling frazzled or unrested. What if we first get super clear on HOW we want to FEEL this summer and then identify the specific goals or intentions that will best support us in feeling this way?!
