Do you pack your kids lunches?
Do you struggle with what to provide for their lunches?
Do you need suggestions for choosing different and healthy food choices?
Believe me, I sure do sometimes. And, if you have older kids, you can still guide them to make better food choices. I have three kids.. Isabella 13, Isaiah 12, and Illianna 9. Each of them is unique and they all have their favorite foods. Unfortunately, their favorites are not always the healthiest, but we are learning together as a family.
Having these lunch boxes have helped to teach my kids to have a rounded balance of food groups. I, myself, learned a lot from doing the #21dayfix and I thank @autumn for helping me to learn more about portion control and the nutrition I need to maintain a healthy diet.
We are not perfect eaters, by any means, but as a Mom it’s my job to teach and educate my children to develop healthy eating habits. We cannot rely on our schools or the world’s influences. It is our job as parents, and Tim and I are learning right alongside of our children.
I have made an investment in Planetbox, and it is making a difference!
Here is an example of my son’s lunch
1. bacon and lettuce sandwich on whole grain bread
4. energy bites
5. cucumbers (in the small dipper)
6. mango fruit strips
It’s not fancy but it’s healthy! I’m a busy mom that needs simplicity and a system that will work for us. If you could use encouragement with packing healthier, balanced lunches for your children, please comment below and tag a friend. I’m here to stand together and help others find ways or systems to create healthy eating habits.
