Shakeology Tips

How to get the most out of Shakeology!

  • Using only water makes a thinner consistency; using only milk makes a thicker consistency; and using both together is a good mixture of the 2! *you can use any liquid you want in the shakes – water, skim milk, almond milk, rice milk, soy milk, coconut milk, juices, etc.* ( I prefer unsweetened almond milks if I use one)
  • Using a blender is our suggested way to blend. Don’t have a blender? That’s ok! Use a shaker cup instead to break up the powder — but it is better much blended!!
  • Add a cup of greek yogurt for added protein and very creamy!
  • Adding a banana makes it thicker. (I like to peel and freeze my bananas for extra slushiness!) 
  • Adding 1/4 an avocado makes it creamier (especially in strawberry shakes!)
  • Use coconut water instead of regular water if you want more electrolytes in your shake after a workout.
  • Use ice to get desired consistency and make it more ‘milkshake’ like.
  • If you make too much or get too full, stick it in the fridge for a couple of hours. It will keep and even stay the same consistency!
  • Substitute frozen berries or fruit instead of ice to make a tropical blended drink.
  • The longer you blend it, the more it expands.
  • Add oats for a fun consistency and to make it taste like an oatmeal cookie (1/3 – 1/2 cup). *tastes best in vanilla shakes*
  • Add cinnamon to get a better flavor. *works in every flavor!* (plus added benefit in cinnamon herb, helps with joints) 
  • GET CREATIVE! You can seriously add anything to the shakes; the choice is up to you!

Vegan Chocolate Special 

1 serving Chocolate Vegan Shakeology

1 cup water  (unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk)

1 medium banana

1 Tbsp. all natural peanut butter

Vegan Tropical Strawberry Breeze

1 serving Vegan Tropical Strawberry

1 cup water ((unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk)

½ greek yogurt

1 cup of frozen strawberries

½ tsp of cinnamon

Chocolate Berries

1 serving Chocolate Shakeology

1 cup water  (unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk)

½  frozen or fresh strawberries

½  frozen or fresh banana

½ tsp of cinnamon

Vanilla Pumpkin Pie

1 serving Vanilla Shakeology

1 cup water  (unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk)

½ cup canned pumpkin puree

1 tbsp of chopped pecans

1 tsp maple syrup (or raw honey) 

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Greenberry Blast

1 serving Greenberry Shakeology

1 cup water  (unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk)

1 cup of frozen berries (raspberry, blackberry, blueberry)

Banana Spice Latte

1 serving Cafe Latte Shakeology

1 cup water  (unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk)

1 frozen banana

½ tsp cinnamon

1 tsp almond butter or peanut butter

½ tsp vanilla extract 

Strawberry Pecan Cream

1 serving Strawberry Shakeology

1 cup water  (unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk)

¼ cup of greek yogurt

1 cup of Strawberries

2 tsp of chopped pecans
